v1.1 - post 7DRL bugfix/polish update


As is 7DRL tradition, I'm releasing a small post-challenge update that fixes a few bugs and otherwise mostly is about sound:

polish:

  • new underwater track on the title screen
  • in game music likewise shifts to an underwater version when underwater
  • added a few sound effects
  • added an indicator for current level number
  • Shriek ability range reduced by 1
  • "Deep Breath" button changed to "Wait" in deep water and" Last Breath" when checkmated with an accompanying animation

bug fixes:

  • fixed some game crashing level generation bugs
  • fixed a really janky resolution issue on retina displays
  • fixed a few pathfinding issues that were causing enemies to stand still too long often blocking your path
  • improved performance on later levels
  • total levels increased from 7 to 8
  • fixed a bug with upgrades which were hiding several later upgrades totally
  • fixed a typo
  • I think I've fixed a nasty visual glitch with vertical gaps between sprites
